Services
Having extensive cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary experience, I was able to use a systems thinking approach to design Tianmei World Academy as a systemic solution to systemic problems like polarization and unequal access to education. In the process, design thinking and service design methodologies were employed, while using an Environmental Psychology framework. Through constant research and iteration the Academy became a hybrid organization, combining academic research with social entrepreneurship with a mission to:
1 | Empower each and every individual beyond financial and geographical barriers to understand how to create better living, learning and working environments suitable for their own individual needs by leveraging the power of environmental psychology research.
2 | Let equal access to education become a right, instead of a privilege.
3 | Employ environmental psychology knowledge for a more holistic (systematic) approach to problem solving across the industries we work with.
4 | Bridge the gap between academic research and practical application.
5 | Create more value for society by contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.
6 | Change the definition of business from “a profit-making entity” to “an entity that solves social issues and creates value in a financially sustainable way”.
The environments we live, learn and work in shape the way we think and influence the way we behave, our mindsets, our learning outcomes and work productivity. As such, through the work at Tianmei World Academy it is my mission to share related knowledge, design better living, learning, working environments to facilitate personal growth, increase levels of wellbeing, and support individuals become leaders by example and agents for change for a better, more inclusive world.
